G. NEW BUSINESS

1. We received funding from the Nason Foundation for $58,531.79, half the cost of the project to pave from Riddlesburg to Hopewell. Motion to approve the township covering the remaining cost.

2. Nicholas Dixon Subdivision

3. PENSION MMO- Each year, the Township must prepare a Minimum Municipal Obligation report.  For the year 2027, the MMO is estimated at $32,800—motion to accept the report.

4. Motion to approve Resolution 26-09-01 amending the contribution rate from 3% to 8%.

5. Coopers Sawmill Road Right-of-Way spraying.

6. Six-Mile Run Area Volunteer Fire Company sent notification that they are planning to have a parade on 9/12/2026 from 5 pm to 10 pm

H. CORRESPONDENCE

Vickie Swope stated that a Glow walk and bonfire will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2026, at 6:30 p.m., starting at the Tatesville Community Church.

​The Bedford County Township Officials Association Convention will be held on October 19, 2026, at 9 am at the Alum Bank Fire Hall. Registration starts at 8:30 am.

On August 11th we received $8,550.21 to close out our administrative costs and program for the Ida flooding from September 2021.
